Ease this complete can mean alignment or mean nothing is testing you — either way the danger is inner, the ego expanding into the empty space. Keep refining your craft while the walls are undefended. Cities this quiet are moved through, not moved into.

Starting out, or stuck at ground level, grow like wood: humble, adaptable, quietly persistent, willing to ask for help and to dismantle your own barriers. The confidence for the climb isn't the ego's self-assurance but the trust earned by sincerity (line 1) — so begin with substance over polish (line 2): the means may be modest and the manner rough, but genuine work is what the height accepts. Don't let ambition hurry you past the necessary steps or spend your effort on being noticed — recognition sought is progress lost. And drop the giant-leap fantasy that despises small accumulations; they are the only real mechanism of height. Bring the small honest offering, keep the purpose plain, and rise one heaped session at a time.
